Seasons on the plate

Guests here appreciate food that follows the seasons, and chips have seasons too. From September to July we cut from Agria. Only in August, when the heather is in bloom, do we switch to Frieslander for a few weeks. Under the potato season you can see how that year is structured, and under Agria or Frieslander how they differ in the fryer.

Because both varieties come from our own fields, quality stays consistent throughout the year. So you can happily mention the season on your menu without the chips suddenly coming out of the fryer differently.

Zeist is part of our round around Utrecht. We cut on Tuesday and Friday mornings and deliver the chips ourselves, vacuum packed and free of additives. For chip shops and snack bars that fry a lot of chips each week, we have put everything together under fresh chips for snack bars.
